The Christmas Tag

It's Christmas time even though I don't celebrate Christmas on 25th of December and I'm probably not eligible to answer these festive questions, I thought it's really fun to answer them so who cares. Let's do it.

What’s your favorite Christmas movie?

I haven't watched every Christmas movie or those that are recommended to me but I will say 'Love Actually' is pretty good movie. It's perfectly made for cozy pre-Christmassy nights just to set you in the right mood and make you feel festive. Super heartwarming.

Have you ever had a White Christmas?

Yes, actually I think every year is white Christmas but I'm not 100% sure about that and I'm talking about Eastern Orthodox Christmas. For catholic Christmas there was probably years where there wasn't any snow, I remember in 2015 two days after Christmas there was an intense snowing and I LOVED IT.

Where do you usually spend your holidays?

The most of time probably home at my hometown and for some short period usually going to our family house in the mountains, where is all snowy and cozy. Family and friends have to be included.

What is your favorite Christmas song?

I'm not used to listening Christmas music very often and it's not something that I do. But I have listened last year the 'Christmas & Chill' album from Ariana and I liked it, but there are so many songs to be explored and listened to.

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?

Christmas gift giving it's not a tradition at my home or my surrounding as much as I'm aware of it. I was going to write Orthodox Christians don't have this tradition as well, but I might be wrong.

Can you name all of Santa's reindeer?

Definitely not. I know there is Rudolf though, so there you have it.

Which holiday traditions are you looking forward to this year?

Having family time together and just watching movies all together, while being cozy and warm.

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake. I would love to have a real one, one day maybe. It's a great part of the whole festive fun.

What is your favorite holiday treat/sweet/food?

It's nothing specific because every holiday food I taste probably over the year more times. I'm not fun with these answers, I KNOW.

What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?

Probably North America, some super festive place to feel super Christmassy and festive, because a lot of the time Christmas just comes so fast and I'm not set into the right mood.

What made you realize the truth about Santa?

Can't remember. I feel like I didn't care over the time as I grew up and it probably wasn't a big deal.

What makes the holidays special for you?

Just spending quality time with those who I love and laughing for little stupid things.

  2. Presents are what got me hooked to Christmas. Being a kid who didn't get a lot of presents I always looked forward to that special time of year, knowing that "Santa" will bring me something.
