Humanity to be part of our everyday life

The last year will be remembered as the year of a refugee crisis, which seriously shook the
foundation of peace and stability of Europe and the world. The exodus of refugees from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, which this year the number exceeded millions figure, the traumatic photos from their travelling to western european countries nobody leaves indifferent. Hundreds of people, players with human destinies, smugglers, war profiteers, everyday the earn thousands of euros of them. In all the obstacles the transit countries, while trying to help, they are putting, barbed wires, fences, walls, tear gas, water cannons etc. there are also people that are trying their absolute best to make their travel easier.

I heard so many ignorant and insensitive people around me saying that they shouldn't be doing this, they should stay where they belong, they are terrorists. I'm so sick of those type of people. While those who are helping are synonym for humanity and strong will. They help to hundreds of people, the are truly "angelic humans". With their actions they change the everyday life to a lot of people, positively affecting to any social communities, they encourage and diversify others to well-doing.

  1. War does not bring any good. And this hate culture isn't gonna take us any further. We should throw his useless war on greed and religion and be human in true sense. We should accept that humans are capable of change and deep within are capable of good. Helping others is never a foolishness. Nobody should be left to die, especially the ones who play no role in this gruesome environment that is taking place in Syria. We all know who is to blame for all that.

  2. There is the saying...love conquers all. Well the only war I hope to see this year is a victory of love over hate.

  3. I see the images. I read the news. I see the refugees and it is awful. Now there are people who will bash just for the sake of bashing and these remarks I ignore. They do not mean anything to me nor increase my productivity.

  4. It is so sad to know that there are a lot of insensitive people who keeps on giving their harmful words to them not even realizing that these refugees are only victims of war and conflicts. For us who can't give a helping hand personally, we can always include them in our prayers.

  5. Having different beliefs should be okay as long as we respect each other. It's a different story when there's violence, when people get hurt, die, or when beliefs are used to justify wrongdoings. It's scary and it's sad to see that we're all humans yet there are some of us who refuse to live in peace.

  6. I believe that refugees or not, they should be treated humanely since they are still people. I'm sure if it happens to us, we would want to be treated humanely too. It's so heartbreaking to know that people write insensitive comments or are indifferent to their situation. I hope we'll have more good people who can help them. I'll surely include them in my prayers.

  7. Most of us are so lucky to live in a country not facing war, tragedy, or suffering everyday. We need to help each other and save each other in times of crisis, no matter our nationality, race or religion. We should always think that, if this were me, how would I want to be treated in a time of need?

  9. This is something , that really touches and occupies me very intens , David . I am the one , who shouts out the loudest,to always help people in need and reach a hand out for everybody who is underprivileged . Maybe I should mention , that I am german , which makes the whole topic even more special in a certain way . Although I wasn't born yet when WW2 was on , but the german history is well known . And I couldn't understand , how so many germans were so full of hate and mistrust against the refugees. Shouldn't they know better , what it means to flee from war and death ? But , as I still have family living in germany , and I get to know a lot from behind the scenes, I start to understand ( does not mean that I agree ) , what bothers the german population . My mum tells me , she is too scared to leave her house when it gets dark , due to the kind of 'refugees' living nearby her home in a sports hall . I believe , that the politicians have underestimated , what was hitting the countries . I still say absolutely YES , real refugees need to be taken , given a home and as much help as possible . All I can say , I am living on a spanish island , we haven't got any refugees at all here . Why ? Because there is no social benefits to claim and expect , not even for our own people. If a chancellor appears on TV (Merkel) and big mouthed more or less invites the whole world , now wonder that this causes a emigration of nations . That has got not a lot to do with refugees and compassion anymore . A very delicate topic , I will still hold on to my principals . Always help people in need , and if I can give only 1 euro or 2 , I will give that . We should always bear in mind , tomorrow it could be us needing help !

  10. I cannot blame the people who are afraid or who has bad impressions with the refugees because it might be because they just dont want to compromise their security. however, i dont believe in just condemning them because they are still humans. After all, we all just want to live in a war free earth.

  11. As the world becomes smaller and a few zealots become crazier, there will be people who will be kinda heartless and rude bec. their safety and security is threatened.

It's sad that loss of human lives and violation of human rights is (widely) accepted as collateral damage to pursue ones ideology.

  12. We don't have to condemn our fellow humans just because of their race. Who cares if their country has a lot of terrorists? It doesn't mean that they're all terrorists, right? We are all entitled to our own opinions and we really can't control what other people think or feel. I believe the best way to address the issue with the insensitive commenters is to make them think 'What if I was one of the refugees who need help?'
